MediHelp was awarded the Prize for Best Insurance Product in the category of health insurance in 2022, while our professional leader, Éva Bauer, received the Professional Excellence Award for her exceptional contribution to the industry.

The Prize aims to inspire insurance companies to meaningfully integrate current consumer needs into the design and development of their insurance plans, while at the same time providing their customers with valid solutions and a genuine sense of security.

The Prize was founded 4 years ago by the Association of Hungarian Insurance Brokers.

The secret to being a successful player with popular products on the insurance market is the sensitivity and ability to react instantly to economic and social changes. MediHelp’s market vigilance and customer-oriented approach mean that we had been close to winning the prize in previous years, but last year we could finally stand on the top step of the podium.

The principal criteria to meet is value for money or, in other words, the value and benefits of services provided to the beneficiary for the company’s unit fee compared to those provided by other products. Further criteria for evaluation include the speed, accuracy and fairness with which health insurance claims are processed and letters of guarantee are issued, the quality of administrative procedures in underwriting bonds, issuing proforma invoices and effectively handling amendments to policies.

Products are divided into 5 categories: Fully Comprehensive Car Insurance, Home Insurance, Complex Business Insurance (property and public liability), Travel Insurance and Private Health Insurance. It goes without saying that we excelled in the last category.

Members of the Association of Hungarian Insurance Brokers evaluate some 120 Hungarian insurance companies every year in terms of both their performance, and the products and services they deliver. The prize is awarded on the basis of the results of a questionnaire compiled according to the specified criteria.

And they were the ones who chose us, highlighting that: “You can offer our customers the most in the category of private health insurance, all the while delivering products and services of the very highest standard”.

It is common knowledge that brokers act as intermediaries on the insurance market, choosing among the products and services offered by all the insurance companies to best meet the requirements of their customers. Brokers mediate between the consumer and the insurance company, assessing the consumer’s expectations and providing them with the insurance plan that best delivers the specific, individual solution they require.

The Professional Excellence Award for our professional leader, Éva Bauer, may be considered a kind of 'lifetime achievement award' for someone who already played a key role when MediHelp first appeared on the Hungarian market, who firmly believed that the Hungarian market was sufficiently mature for premium health insurance and who, for already 7 years now, with her deep commitment has ensured a solid professional grounding for our company. An outstanding expert in her field, with her sensitivity, loyalty to customers and perfectionism, crucial when it comes to delivering financial services, she has kept MediHelp on an even keel, while inspiring the firm year after year to raise standards and achieve ever greater success.
